Today I ran the slowest 5k ever in my life.
OK...I had a few drinks last night at dinner, and I felt fine. But apparently my body disagrees. I was struggling to go through the last kilometer and there's one thought sliding by that I might want to give up.
That terrifies me.
So next time when they say: Don't drink and drive. They should also add: Don't drink and RUN.
And by the way, this is my training schedule for first 10K attempt, and I AM STICKING!!!
