The End of NGOs?

The book tittle might scared some NGO people, and it shocked me a little when I picked it up at the bookstore too. The Arthur used to be a NGOer and his view of why NGOs can never make a real social change was enlightening. I haven't read that much of the book yet, perhaps he got better ideas I have not yet got to.

End of charity, the time for Social Enterprise... And I still mixed up SE with CSR, I mean, I know they are different, but did they operate under the same principle- reality check?

So the problem arises: Do we need to adjust our social value from NGO based development model to a more practical/ corporate-friendly Social Enterprise? OR NGOs need to change strategy from charitable aids and projects to a more sustainable SE business model?

Who needs to change?
