Pre-Holiday Shopping

I am not doing a lot of Christmas shopping this year, which is good :) But I figure that I need some beverages and snack for my office, so I went to one of my favorite organic shop in the neighborhood: Green Dot Dot.

The Camomile tea was exciting since I haven't had it for so long. And the other reason I went to this relatively small shop rather then this one and this one is because some people in Hong Kong is launching an initiative against big corporate monopoly for dominating the price and our daily life.

By supporting small and medium enterprise, and even social enterprises; we hope to restore justice in our economy by using our power as a consumer.

The challenge ahead lays: Will we give in at some point for convenience or other reasons? I will give it a try. For the next 7 days (Dec 19- Dec 25), I will avoid all forms of consumptions at the big corporate shops or chain restaurants, Well... I have to take the public transportations to go to work so the MTR can not be avoided, but I can get away from their shopping malls for awhile :)
